2D Artist | Painter | IllustratorMaiki is an emerging native (Oglala Lakota) two-spirit/genderfluid artist and goes by he/she/they pronouns. Maiki went to college and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. They currently work as a freelance artist doing various things, such as becoming a teaching artist with their local artspace, creating graphic design work, painting digitally and traditionally with various mediums, and photography. They describe their work as “painterly-inspired illustrations” that are usually made with ink, watercolor, gouache, or digital designs. They are also inspired by neon/bright colors, monochromatic color schemes, emotional expressions, poetry, and music.Extra Info
