Maiki went to college and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. They currently work as a freelance artist doing various things, such as becoming a teaching artist with their local artspace, creating graphic design work, painting digitally and traditionally with various mediums, and photography. They describe their work as “painterly-inspired illustrations” that are usually made with ink, watercolor, gouache, or digital designs.
